Roadside Romeo is a forthcoming Bollywood animated film that will have Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor lend their voices to animated characters for the first time. Written and directed by debutante Jugal Hansraj, who acted in films such as Mohabbatein (2000) and Salaam Namaste (2005), this will be the first animated film that is an India-U.S. co-production of Yash Raj Films and Walt Disney Pictures. The film will utilize state-of-the-art computer-animation technology done entirely in India as well as feature music, dances, songs and romance just like any other film produced by Yash Raj Films. Roadside Romeo is scheduled to release on October 24, 2008 and will be produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra under Yash Raj Films.

24-hour preschool television channel Sprout will premiere Justin Time, a new animated series for preschoolers that focuses on imaginary adventures and delivers fun, friendship and adventure along the way. Produced by Toronto’s Guru Studios, the show centers on Justin, a young boy who imagines himself traveling around the world at different points in history. Debuting Sunday, April 22, at 3:45 p.m. ET, the premiere of Justin Time kicks off a week-long celebration – “Justin Time for Earth Week”– promoting conservation and the importance of caring for the environment. Paddy O'Gorman visits an Irish Social Welfare Office. I think it was in my hometown of Tallaght.
This is a test animation made in After Effects.
I heard this segment on Pat Kenny's RTE radio show about people applying for Community Welfare grants in Tallaght, Dublin and besides annoying me at how these people just take, take, take I thought it would be a perfect basis to try out animating in After Effects CS5.
These characters/this style will be fine tuned for the Agent Zorlax animated short. Please comment if you have any tips, I know I messed up here and there.
