Welcome to Zimbabwe. We’re in the nation’s capital, Harare. And this is Rufaro Stadium. The Zimbabwean finals of the Volkswagen Junior Masters recently took place here. The Volkswagen Junior Masters is a global football development tournament that culminates in May when teams from twenty countries will participate in the world finals, to be held at the famed Bernabeaú Stadium in Madrid, Spain. Zimbabwe’s national team failed to qualify for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in neighboring South Africa but hopes are high that Zimbabwe’s junior players will perform well in Spain.

unfortunately Harald Thoma doesn´t appear in this video, because he was about to get draughted by the army and our manager replaced him with the red-haired Jürgen Schneider. Short time after that we fired the manager and brought back Harald Thoma to the band.

Porsche Cars North America today officially opened its new $100 million Porsche Experience Center (PEC) and headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. The 27-acre complex located at the Northeast corner of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the largest investment outside Germany for the sports car manufacturer. The industry-first facility is complete with a driver development track, classic car gallery, restoration center, human performance center and driving simulator lab. Germany is witnessing a constant rise in the number of private schools – there are roughly 3000 at present. The reason: Many parents have lost faith in state-run education, not least after the damning verdict and the abysmal ratings of the so-called 2006 PISA report. They prefer to send their children to privately funded schools. The percentage of private students has reached eight percent nationwide and has doubled since the mid-1990s, regardless of monthly tuition fees of an average 150 Euros per child. Private schools may follow a variety of different educational approaches. Nevertheless they are united in their ultimate objective of providing a better and individually-tailored education to their pupils. Hamburg’s Bugenhagen College is one of the schools that are going down this route.
