Centennial College's Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance program is a two-year program that covers a wide range of the aviation and aerospace sectors, which together work to keep aircraft safe and airworthy.
Pairing the endless possibilities of space exploration with the limitless opportunities of education, Texas Instruments (TI) (NASDAQ: TXN) and NASA are partnering to show students how science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) make feats like space exploration possible with mISSion imaginaTIon. The partnership and its programs aim to spur the imaginations of the next generation of scientists, engineers, explorers and innovators who are in today’s math and science classrooms.
Combining expertise, TI Education Technology and NASA have developed programs that promote STEM-focused lessons for students and teachers in middle and high school. Launching today, the mISSion imaginaTIon online quiz allows participants to see if they have what it takes for a year-long mission aboard the International Space Station. After discovering how ready they are to live in space, students can then put their STEM skills to the test with the mISSion imaginaTIon design challenge, which asks students to devise solutions to four space-related challenges.

According to a new report, How Can We Avoid a Stroke Crisis in the Asia-Pacific Region?, urgent coordinated action is needed to avoid millions of preventable strokes, which leave many patients who have atrial fibrillation (AF) both mentally and physically disabled, or dead, every year.
The report, launched today during the 18th Asian Pacific Congress of Cardiology (APCC) by Action for Stroke Prevention, a group of health experts from across the globe, proposes urgent measures to prevent stroke in Asia-Pacific patients with AF, the most common, sustained abnormal heart rhythm and a major cause of stroke. The report’s recommendations are endorsed by 32 leading Asia-Pacific and other global medical societies and patient organizations, reinforcing and recognizing the need for a call to action.

Union Pacific Railroad this week launched a new campaign exclusively on social media, urging drivers and pedestrians to think about their personal safety first and wait at grade crossings. New videos depict different scenarios in which a jogger, young couple and father and son are stopped, waiting for a train to pass. When the arms lift, each proceeds safely toward a spectacular future.

I used the organs upright piano attachment for most of this piece but the camera microphone was unfortunately not able to pick this up. Provident New York Bancorp announced today the completion of its previously announced acquisition of Sterling Bancorp, which became effective after the close of business on October 31, 2013. The combined company, known as Sterling Bancorp, will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the new ticker symbol “STL”. With assets of nearly $7 billion, the company will specialize in serving small-to-middle market commercial and consumer clients across the greater New York metropolitan area. In connection with the acquisition, Sterling National Bank merged with Provident Bank. Provident Bank has converted to a national bank charter and has adopted the Sterling National Bank name.

I composed this song about 6 years back as part of my attempt to do a full length musical about a train targeted by terrorists. the whole project was about 45 minutes long until I abandoned it due to it taking up so much of my time as I wanted to start focusing my attention on songs such as the one\'s that I have uploaded to this site. Originally this part was to be the destruction of the train with a helicopter pursuing it and giving it\'s coordinates for the launch of a missile which demolishes the train, or so the terrorists believe but for this video I have put together a different scenario where the poor \
