With the help of President George H.W. Bush, Bass Pro Shops and representatives of the States of Texas and Florida, RBFF and the George H.W. Bush Vamos a Pescar™ Education Fund has announced the very first grant donations to organizations bringing conservation, education and fishing and boating experiences to Hispanic families. A total of $50,000 in grants were awarded last week during a ceremony at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, TX.
The George H.W. Bush Vamos a Pescar™ Education Fund was founded by RBFF in 2014, with an initial $125,000 donation by Bass Pro Shops Founder and CEO Johnny Morris, in honor of President George H.W. Bush’s milestone 90th birthday. The mission of the Education Fund is to bring hands-on fishing and boating experiences, along with conservation activities, to Hispanic families across the United States. This event announces the first grants made in furtherance of this mission.

With the famous Dakar Rally, unquestionably the toughest motor race in the world, it's first and foremost all about getting through, for both people and material. And even when we as normal car drivers don't directly profit from the sometimes unbelievable performances of the racing drivers, we at least benefit from the experience gained from the racing cars and their components. Each part, from the smallest screw up to a twin turbo fuel injection system, is subjected to the very toughest of tests during the Dakar Rally. And such components have to supply a maximum of performance – after all, for the teams it's all about winning. FC Barcelona has organized a talk named Crossing Bridges, hosted by Aperture Foundation in New York. This talk was part of the promotional activities of the FCBARCELONA PHOTO AWARDS, which is the first one in its nature, initiated by a sports club and aiming at photographs that will best depict the positive values of sports for the society.
The Awards expect participation of artists who use photography as a vehicle for artistic expression, professional photographers, as well as photojournalists. Rather than professional sports photography, The Jury will prioritize the submissions that show sports as it is practiced in daily life everywhere in the world.

The Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation has announced that the Federal Law “On the preparation and holding in the Russian Federation the FIFA World Cup 2018™ and the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and introduction of the amendments to some Russian Federation legislative acts” was published on the official website of the President of Russia (http://kremlin.ru/acts/news/57003).
The changes to the legislation have concerned the duration of possible entry into the Russian Federation for tourists who plan to cross the Russian federal border using FAN ID. Foreign spectators and stateless persons can enter Russia with their within the time period that starts 10 days prior to the date of the first match and ends on the date of the last match, i.e. it will be possible to enter Russia with a FAN ID from June 4 to July 15, 2018. The FAN ID holders must leave the country no later than July 25, 2018. Foreign spectators and stateless persons can also exit Russia using a FAN ID either in the laminated form or in electronic format if they have valid documents of identification.
