Theo Kogan has been in the fashion and music industry for over 10 years, as a model and muse doing campaigns for Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Courvoisier, Rimmel and many more as well as tons of Fashion Editorial and runway work. As the singer of her former all female band Lunachicks, she inspired a gaggle of young girls and boys to emulate her style and start bands of their own. The First Graduation Ceremony of Nazarbayev University (NU) took place on June 15, 2015. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev addressed the Class of 2015.
Nazarbayev University, created on the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan in 2010, is fast becoming a leading research university in Kazakhstan and the region. The first cohort of graduating students consists of 446 undergraduate and graduate students. Of the 365 bachelor degree holders, 115 have been accepted to Masters and PhD programs in leading universities of the world, some 90 graduates plan to continue their studies at Nazarbayev University; more than 80 received job offers from leading national and international companies, and another 50 are interviewing with prospective employers.

Globally, 1.2 billion people have no access to electricity. On the occasion of VELUX 75th anniversary the company decided to address this issue. Together with the social business Little Sun and the NGO Plan International they are collaborating to bring clean, reliable and affordable light to off-grid regions in Zambia, Sierra Leone and Zimbabwe.
14,500 Natural Light lamps from the VELUX Group have now arrived in Africa and the first recipients can already look forward to a better quality of life.
Among them are young girls between 10 and 18 years of age who live in a safe house in the slum area Mntendere in the Zambian capital Lusaka.
"The lamps mean the girls can do their homework when they get back from school and can feel safer at night, instead of huddling together in the dark after sunset. And it’s particularly important for our children that they feel safe – many are carrying the mental baggage such as the trauma of violence, rape or drugs," says safe house manager Verann Delarey.

BBC Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox and James Bond actor Colin Salmon have pledged their support for Christmas in a Box a new fundraising campaign for End Youth Homelessness (EYH), a movement of charities supporting vulnerable young people across the UK.
An estimated 15,000 young people will face homelessness this Christmas across the UK. Christmas in a Box will enable visitors to Dune London’s website and stores across the UK to give a young person the gift of a better Christmas with an EYH charity.
