Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri return to mentor and coach eight new multi-talented celebrities in the third season of Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, premiering Monday, January 6th at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network. The eight celebrities are divided into Team Rachael and Team Guy as they compete over six episodes in a variety of culinary challenges, testing their cooking, marketing and performing skills along the way. New to this season, each episode features a special Food Network guest judge who will determine which celebrity is sent home. The last one left standing wins bragging rights as they join past season winners Lou Diamond Phillips and Dean McDermott, and $50,000 to the charity of their choice.

The all-star musical and fireworks extravaganza will kick off the country’s 241st birthday with performances by: iconic multi-platinum selling music legends The Beach Boys, with special guests John Stamos (drums) and Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath (vocals); soul men Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi of The Blues Brothers; legendary Motown stars The Four Tops; THE VOICE Season 12 winner Chris Blue; acclaimed country music singer and songwriter Kellie Pickler; Grammy-nominated gospel legend Yolanda Adams; and Broadway star and two-time Tony Award-nominee Laura Osnes (BANDSTAND); with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly. The National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF), in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), announced today the 2015 Hall of Fame Inductees, all of whom have changed the world through human, social and/or economic progress.
Among this year’s class of Inductees is Nobel Prize winner Shuji Nakamura, responsible for the blue light-emitting diode (LED) which enabled the white LED, and the blue laser diode; Jaap Haartsen, the inventor of Bluetooth® technology, now used in 2.7 billion devices and growing; George Alcorn, who furthered deep space exploration with his X-ray spectrometer; Kristina M. Johnson and Gary Sharp, pioneers in display technology related to rear projection television and 3D applications; and duo Ioannis Yannas and John Burke, who have saved the lives of many burn victims with their invention of Artificial Skin.
