With the critical success and recognition of I Am Shelby Lynne, she was awarded the Best New Artist GRAMMY® in 2000 – after nearly 13 years in the business. Love, Shelby was released in 2001, followed by a pair of intimate, self-produced albums – Identity Crisis (2003) and Suit Yourself (2005). She made her acting debut in 2005, playing Johnny Cash's mother in the Fox Searchlight motion picture Walk the Line. Never one to go with the crowd, Shelby continues to stand apart from the mainstream music world. She recently founded her own label, EVERSO RECORDS. Lynne’s Tears, Lies, And Alibis, EVERSO’s first release, debuted at No. 16 on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart in April of 2010. A Top 10 hit at Americana radio, it was hailed by Newsday as “her strongest album in a decade,” a sentiment echoed by numerous critics. She followed Tears, Lies, And Alibis with her first-ever holiday collection, Merry Christmas, released in the fall of 2010.
Revelation Road – Shelby’s most personal record yet – will be released on October 18, 2011. She wrote, recorded and produced the album, which leads off with the title track and first single, “Revelation Road,” a stirring reflection on reckoning and redemption. Lynne will be touring North American this fall.

Pringles® proudly announces Kent Jenkins, also known as “SnubbyJ” the winner of The Tournament of Flavors bracket-style contest with a total of 681,270 votes. Jenkins, a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, conquered the Tournament with a video demonstrating his unique, home-crafted PVC pipe musical instrument using Pringles Original cans.
The Pringles Tournament of Flavors featured crowd sourced videos showcasing humorous interpretations of various Pringles flavors. Fans voted through the brand’s Facebook page to advance their favorite videos to the next round. The Tournament’s 16 videos went through four elimination rounds until the top two – Original’s “Tub Thumping” and BBQ’s “The Pringles Aficionado” – went head-to-head in the final round. As fans voted, they could win a variety of prizes including free Pringles and $500 gift cards.

Alison Sweeney and Mika Brzezinski co-hosted the 10th Anniversary of the More Magazine/Fitness Magazine Women’s Half-Marathon in Central Park on Sunday, April 14, 2013. More than 7,550 women from around the world took part in the race—the largest women’s-only half-marathon in the country—established by More and Fitness magazines in partnership with New York Road Runners. Sweeney and Brzezinski both participated in the race for the first time and crossed the finish line within two hours before a cheering crowd of 16,000; Sweeney finished in 1:59:50 and Brzezinski finished in 1:49:19.

Miami Children's Health Foundation (MCH Foundation) celebrated its 10th Anniversary Diamond Ball on Oct. 29, raising nearly $1.6 million, benefiting the children and families at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. More than 800 guests took part in the glamourous affair, which combined couture fashion and costumes inspired by the theme “Into the Woods.”
This year, world-renowned guitarist, singer, and composer José Feliciano was inducted into the Ambassador David M. Walters International Pediatric Hall of Fame. After receiving his award, Mr. Feliciano also entertained the crowd with a live performance. Mr. Feliciano was recognized for his commitment to helping children through the Jose M. and Susan L. Feliciano Charitable Foundation for Children and the Arts and for his achievements in the world of music as the first Latin artist to cross over into the English music market.
