"the trip", like all the other songs from our album "first",recorded 1971 by Conny Plank for PILZ-records (now available as CD on ohrwaschl-records), was our "real krautrock"-song.
never it was the same song twice; we totally improvised it each time we played it. only structured thing was the guitar melody-theme from Harald Thoma and me singing along with it.(find out, when you hear it live 1991 )

unfortunately Harald Thoma doesn´t appear in this video, because he was about to get draughted by the army and our manager replaced him with the red-haired Jürgen Schneider. Short time after that we fired the manager and brought back Harald Thoma to the band.

A landmark summer research study has unveiled a vital component of wellness and happiness…vacations. The survey, “The Takeaways from Getaways,” commissioned by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, draws attention to the serious physical and emotional implications of stress and feeling over worked, and the inextricable link between vacation and personal wellness and happiness.
The research revealed surprisingly that more than 9 out of 10 Americans reported feeling happier after taking a vacation. And seventy-seven percent (77%) believed that their overall health improves after a getaway. Even so, more than half of Americans admitted that doctors should be able to prescribe vacations as a curative and therapeutic option for stress-related maladies.

Consumers seeking locally sourced products can easily find one in an everyday pantry staple – vegetable oil, which is primarily 100 percent soybean oil made from soybeans grown in the U.S. Sales of vegetable oil support more than 550,000 U.S. soybean farmers who strive to leave the land in better shape than they found it for America’s next generation of farmers. “I work hard to help produce an ingredient that I am proud to serve to my own family, as well as families across the U.S.,” said United Soybean Board (USB) Chairman Bob Haselwood. “Every time you purchase vegetable oil, or soybean oil, you’re supporting local farmers.” Haselwood produces soybeans on his farm in Berryton, Kansas. Many retailers sell soybean oil primarily produced with U.S.-grown soybeans. This past summer, USB partnered with a large Midwest grocery retail chain with 200+ stores to emphasize the importance of knowing where food comes from and educate about the benefits of soybean oil. During this promotion, unit sales of the store brand vegetable oil rose more than 27 percent over the same time last year, and shoppers commented that they were more likely to purchase soybean oil knowing it’s a U.S.-grown product. Anyone who has seen the blockbuster movies The Thomas Crown Affair or Bullitt will want to read The Pursuit of Happiness, a new novel by the same writer, Alan Trustman. The highest paid screenwriter in Hollywood at one time, Trustman now turns his pen to fiction, which reads and moves with the same crime thriller speed as his movies.
