This year’s Class of Inductees includes innovators such as Ching Wan Tang and Steven Van Slyke (OLED display technology), Stan Honey (football’s “yellow first-and-ten line”), Mary Engle Pennington (food preservation and storage), and Paul Terasaki (tissue typing for organ transplants), just to name a few. Belfast is leading the many commemorations taking place around the world in memory of those who perished on the Titanic’s tragic maiden voyage 100 years ago.
