For the tenth consecutive year, The Capital Grille today launched its highly anticipated wine event, The Generous Pour. This year, guests are invited to taste and toast the legacy of renowned winemaker Dan Duckhorn. With wines hand selected to pair with the restaurant’s signature menu items, including hand-cut steaks, dry aged in-house, the tasting experience offers seven selections of classic California and Washington varietals, all created by Dan Duckhorn and his award-winning winemakers. Of the selections is the Goldeneye Rosé of Pinot Noir making its exclusive debut at this year’s event. The Generous Pour is available for $28 from July 9 through September 2, 2018, when paired with dinner.
“Dan Duckhorn’s continuous pursuit to produce world class wines within the Napa Valley and beyond has become a legendary story in the wine world,” said Brian Phillips, The Capital Grille’s Advanced Sommelier. “We are excited to feature some of the most highly coveted wines of the world this summer, creating an exceptional tasting experience when paired with our signature menu items. Later this year, Hyundai will be the first mainstream automaker to launch an augmented reality owner's manual app. The Hyundai Virtual Guide app is the brand's modern take on the traditional owner's manual, allowing consumers to use their smartphone or tablet computer to get how-to information for repairs, maintenance and vehicle features.
At launch, the Hyundai Virtual Guide is compatible with the 2015 Sonata model, and will soon become available for additional models. The new app recognizes more than 45 major features of the Sonata and is available for free download on the Apple App store and Google Play.
Hyundai used quality consumer survey results to determine the top difficult-to-use features to incorporate into the Virtual Guide. The app also contains 82 how-to videos, six 3D overlay images that appear once users scan areas of their vehicle like the engine bay and more than 50 informational guides.
