From bagels to sushi, the internet has been abuzz with the outrageous Cheetos-infused recipes going viral and popping up at restaurants around the country. Cheetos, one of the flagship brands from PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division, is now bringing Cheetos-inspired dishes to life in New York City at The Spotted Cheetah, the first-ever restaurant devoted to all things Cheetos.
Located in the heart of New York City at 211 W. Broadway, The Spotted Cheetah will be open to the public by reservation only August 15 – August 17 and will provide guests the opportunity to enjoy the ultimate Cheetos dining experience. The menu combines the beloved cheese and crunch of Cheetos with chef Anne Burrell’s culinary talent. With her trademark spiky blonde hair and fun, pumped-up personality, Burrell has worked some of the top restaurants in New York, including her new restaurant, Phil & Anne's Good Time Lounge, studied culinary landscape and traditions of Italy, and authored two popular cookbooks, Cook Like A Rockstar and Own Your Kitchen. Now she's lending her culinary expertise at something completely different with the world's first Cheetos restaurant.

The CCCL Austellungsmannschaft (Luzern's chef's guild competition cooking team) led by Chef Leonard recently completed their 4th team test cook in preparation for the IGEHO exhibition in Basel in November, only 1 more test cook remains in order to correct the dishes so that finished items look perfect. To assist the team in their cause to achieve this perfection 2 of the Swiss Cooking associations top judges (Franz Jonke and Werner Schumacher) were invited to critique the dishes which will be on display on the 25th November, their expertise and assistance will allow the team progress to the next level and hopefully aid our cause to achieve some medal status at the competition itself.
Geoffrey Zakarian is back to host the deceptive and suspenseful series, Cooks vs. Cons, where amateur cooks go head-to-head against professional chefs while concealing their true identities, adding to the mystery of this culinary competition! Each episode the contestants battle it out in two rounds of timed challenges to create delicious restaurant quality dishes using a secret ingredient. The pressure is on as a rotating panel of judges, including Richard Blais, Anne Burrell, Josh Capon, Monti Carlo, Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli, Katie Lee, Marc Murphy, Daphne Oz, Marcus Samuelsson, and more, decide who is a novice in the kitchen and whose cooking skills have been seasoned to perfection. Food Network sends Cutthroat Kitchen to camp this summer for the five-episode special series Camp Cutthroat, where twelve cunning chefs compete for victory under the watchful eye of host and head counselor of mayhem Alton Brown. Set in a secret location deep in the wilderness, these memorable Cutthroat alumni battle for the chance to win up to $75,000 in a tournament of great outdoors-themed culinary challenges with a diabolical twist. With extreme tug-of-war and canteen cooking to battles in the camp lake, only the contestants with the strongest culinary chops and sabotage skills make it to the end of camp. The primetime tournament begins on Wednesday, August 12th at 9pm ET/PT (all times ET/PT), leading up to a final showdown between the four winners on Wednesday, September 9th at 9pm.
