In the U.S., approximately 159,000 women are living with metastatic breast cancer. To raise awareness of Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day on October 13, MedImmune Specialty Care Division of AstraZeneca (NYSE: AZN) is launching the My+Story online resource center, which highlights the needs of women living with metastatic breast cancer and calls attention to metastatic disease as a key component of October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day was officially recognized by the U.S. Congress in 2009, following a grassroots awareness effort led by members of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Network (MBCN). Channel 10, Friday Jan 24th at 10:00PM Ballet Director and inspiration for film Mao's Last Dancer Li Cunxin is one of eight finalists for the prestigious Australian of the Year Award 2014 Born into extreme poverty in rural China, Li became one of China's foremost ballet dancers. He became Principal Artist with the Australian Ballet in 1995, and his autobiography, Mao's Last Dancer, was translated onto the screen in 2009. Today, Li inspires many Australians with his personal story of hardship, perseverance and success. When asked to identify three Australians that he's taken inspiration from, Li named his wife, Mary Li, scientist Professor Ian Frazer and America's Cup skipper John Bertrand.

In Germany’s oldest town, state-of-the-art technology met historical surroundings in an impressive spectacle. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the 2000-year-old amphitheatre in Trier, Volkswagen presented the car that will defend the title at the 2011 Dakar Rally.
