Shell today celebrated the official opening of the Quest carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in Alberta, Canada, and the start of commercial operations there. Quest is designed to capture and safely store more than one million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) each year – equal to the emissions from about 250,000 cars. Quest was made possible through strong collaboration between the public and private sectors aimed at advancing CCS globally.

To be honest it is not a proven fact. the answer: Sensei Titus Mathijn Jansen from Aschendorf has his own Koga Ryu Ninjutsu martial arts school in Winschoten the Netherlands. His School is called, Kage Ryu Dojo what means: Shadow Dragon School. Sensei Titus Jansen is training in the martial arts since he was 5 years old. No he is spreading the Koga Ryu Ninjutsu system to the public. The Koga Ryu Ninjutsu is a bit different then the well known Bujinkan system om grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi.

Scottish Widows - Pension Report. Ian Naismith, Head of Pensions Development at Scottish Widows talks us through the the current problem with pensions in 2010. Scottish Widows conducted a study where members of the public are asked how they are saving for the future and wether they are worried. The Scottish Widows report showed a worrying 41% of people are saving less whilst 21% save nothing.
On the 11th of November, Nordic hotel chain Scandic’s new lifestyle venture, Scandic Grand Central in the city center of Stockholm, Sweden, held its opening party. The hotel is the result of the hotel chain’s new drive to attract more international travelers and attract new target groups.
The hotel has 391 rooms, conference facilities, gym, restaurant, bistro and a large hotel bar/lounge open to the public. Scandic’s ambition is to develop unpretentious yet innovative hotels that are considerate of the environment as well as compassionate. SCAD’s second annual deFINE ART, which ran Feb. 22 - 26, attracted thousands of visitors. deFINE ART featured lectures by prominent figures in the art world, special exhibitions, commissions, student showcases, performances and other events, all of which were free and open to the public.
As one of the highlights of this year’s programming, deFINE ART honored performance artist Marina Abramović for her groundbreaking work and influence on contemporary art. Her keynote lecture was given at SCAD’s locations in both Savannah and Atlanta. Abramović’s solo exhibition remains on view through April 3 at the university's Pinnacle Gallery in Savannah, featuring three videos and an iconic photographic series.
