Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, boughs of holly and sleigh bells ringing: the holiday season is upon us and everyone has favorite aspects of the season they look forward to this time of year. Almost three in five Americans (58%) say the one thing they most look forward to with the holidays is spending time with family and friends. One in ten say it is holiday dinners and parties (9%) and fewer numbers say they most look forward to finding and giving presents (6%), putting up holiday decorations (5%), watching television specials, hearing holiday songs on the radio (5%) and getting presents (3%). One in ten U.S. adults (9%) say they do not look forward to the upcoming holidays.

Green dragons - Green is an earthly color. Thus, the green dragon is often associated with the world, vegetation, and nature. Some people believe that some green dragons spew acid instead of fire or ice. Also, most green dragons can command forces of nature. Forces of nature include things like growth, earthquakes, and fluxes in the landscape. Lore is another thing that people have attributed to green dragons; they attract people with earthly tidings and such wondrous things.

According to State Farm® claims data, more cooking fires occur on Thanksgiving than any other day of the year. In fact, grease and cooking-related claims more than double on Thanksgiving Day compared to an average day in November.
With the popularity of turkey frying, people are at risk for fryer related fires and injuries. U.S. fire departments are responding to more than 1,000 fires each year in which a deep fryer is involved. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) says deep fryer fires result in more than $15 million in property damage each year and hot oil splatter can cause serious burns to an adult or life threatening injuries to a child.
