War sein Vorgänger noch ein Derivat der Continental-Baureihe, das lediglich den Namen „Flying Spur“ als Zusatz trug, hört die aktuelle Generation nur noch auf den Namen „New Flying Spur“. Um es auf den Punkt zu bringen, die 5,30 Meter Limousine ist der stärkste und schnellste Serien-Bentley der je die Hallen verlassen hat. Aus seinem in W-Form angeordneten Zwölfzylinder holt er dank zweier Turbolader 625 PS heraus. Dank Allradantrieb kann der immerhin rund 2,5 Tonnen schwere Flying Spur in 4,6 Sekunden auf Tempo 100 sprinten, erst bei 322 km/h endet der Vortrieb.
