謝霆鋒自出道起便嘗盡艱辛，一直在各種挫折及身邊親友支持之間成長。英皇老闆楊受成在推出自傳《楊受成 爭氣》前夕接受多間傳媒專訪，細說他當初如何發拙霆鋒，以及他怎樣幫助霆鋒渡過失意時期，更稱讚霆鋒之所以有今日的成就全因自已爭氣。

四月二十三日英皇集團為70周年舉行盛大開幕禮，老闆楊受成親率一眾英皇娛樂出席慶祝活動，當中包括天皇巨星謝霆鋒、容祖兒、古巨基及林欣彤等。在一班歌手獻唱後，一千名­英皇集團員工砌出一個「70」字樣，象徵今年的慶祝活動正式展開。

謝霆鋒多年來前後在香港中環擺花街買了3個舖位，最近被指以近億元再在擺花街插旗買舖，但香港媒體曝其實真正買家另有其人。英皇集團主席楊受成為慰勞謝霆鋒，斥資買舖相贈，令謝霆鋒在擺花街共擁4舖，價值超過2億元。據稱謝霆鋒接受電話訪問，表示感激老闆楊受成的大禮。他說：“這個地鋪是老闆送給我作為效力英皇15年的安慰獎。我自己用了800萬買下這個大廈的天臺。”此次地鋪連閣樓及天臺，謝霆鋒擁有整棟物業的20%不可分割業權，可避免被強制拍賣。
