In partnership with Men’s Health Network (MHN), Prostate Health Education Network (PHEN), ZERO – the End of Prostate Cancer and Joe Torre, four-time world champion baseball Hall-of-Famer and prostate cancer survivor, Genomic Health, Inc. (Nasdaq: GHDX) today launched Your Prostate Your Decision to educate prostate cancer patients and their loved ones that every man is different and every cancer is unique, and a genomic test can clarify the aggressiveness of one’s disease prior to invasive treatment. This first-of-its-kind national effort aims to address concerning results of a large national survey that found low general awareness about prostate cancer aggressiveness and treatment options, underscoring the need for better understanding of active surveillance as a treatment plan.
“For a man with prostate cancer, a single decision can change his entire life,” said Mr. Torre, reflecting on his own experience with prostate cancer. “When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I faced a game-changing decision. While I chose surgery, a less aggressive approach called active surveillance might be the best choice.”

UGG Australia is excited to launch its first-ever global brand marketing campaign titled “THIS IS UGG.” for the fall 2014 season. The campaign explores the theme that life’s biggest moments are actually the small ones – a place where the brand lives in consumers' lives. Whether personal or intimate, reflective or celebratory, it's often the smaller moments where life's most important interactions and connections occur. As a part of the initiative, UGG for Men will launch a series of three spots throughout the season featuring brand ambassador Tom Brady, with the first spot “Time Out,” launching on September 2, 2014.

Seeking to support men and their loved ones facing the challenges that come with a diagnosis of prostate cancer, USA Rugby, the Australian Rugby Union and Astellas Pharma have partnered to launch the #pass4prostate challenge, a social media campaign designed to generate awareness of prostate cancer and support a donation of up to $125,000 from Astellas to four research and advocacy organizations: Prostate Cancer Foundation, Australia Prostate Cancer Research, Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia and Prostate Cancer Canada.
From August 5 through the end of September – Prostate Cancer Awareness Month – social media users are encouraged to record a video of themselves catching an inanimate object, mentioning why prostate cancer awareness is important to them, and then passing that object, rugby-style, symbolically to a friend or family member. Astellas will donate $5 to prostate cancer advocacy organizations for every qualifying submission with the #pass4prostate hashtag posted to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, up to a maximum contribution of $125,000.
