On June 29, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will open the doors to the world’s most comprehensive and interactive attraction devoted to NASA’s 30-year Space Shuttle Program –Space Shuttle Atlantis.(SM) More than 40 NASA astronauts are expected to participate in the grand opening, many of whom will be making appearances and signing autographs throughout the Visitor Complex. The festivities also include more than 20 special NASA exhibits throughout the Visitor Complex.
