Celebrity judges, showbiz-inspired design challenges and an impressive exhibition of creativity await viewers of the returning HGTV Design Star. Premiering on Tuesday, May 29, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the series’ seventh season highlights talented interior designers, stylists and artists as they compete to win their own HGTV show. David Bromstad, the network’s charismatic and original winner of the popular reality competition, is back for a second season as mentor—this time also assuming the host role. Each week, HGTV designers Genevieve Gorder and Vern Yip are joined by special guest judges including Kardashian mom Kris Jenner; entrepreneur and TV personality Daisy Fuentes; CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star and Emmy award-winning actress Marg Helgenberger; Entertainment Tonight host Mark Steines; and multi-platinum recording artist and home remodeling expert, DIY Network’s Vanilla Ice. Kildare Village was the setting for a truly Chic Summer Tea Party, hosted by internationally celebrated British model and muse Daisy Lowe to mark the launch of the Chic Summer Festival.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® will celebrate its 14th annual FedEx/St. Jude Angels and Stars Gala, by welcoming back model and television personality, as well as co-founder, Daisy Fuentes, for an evening of fine dining and Latin music at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Miami. The annual event raises funds to help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Daisy is an accelerant detection canine and along with her partner, John Peters, work for the Westchester County Police Department in New York. Both were trained through the State Farm Arson Dog Program to locate trace amounts of ignitable liquids such as gasoline or kerosene that may have been used to start a fire. That is why Daisy and many other accelerant detection canine teams are being recognized during National Arson Awareness Week, May 3–9, 2015.
