Today, premium men-s undergarment brand Tommy John launches the lightest men-s underwear ever created, aptly called Air. On the heels of their recently launched viral film campaign “The Big Adjustment”, Tommy John is debuting this collection of underwear and undershirts made from some of the most advanced fabric technology in the world. After almost two years of product development, which included Founder and CEO Tom Patterson personally wear-testing, washing, drying, weighing and re-weighing the newest product line, Air is now available to the public. As part of the Light category of solution-based products, Air weighs-in at an average of two ounces. The ultra-lightweight and anti-microbial mesh fabric provides wearers maximum ventilation with unmatched durability and superior quick drying features. “Air isn't only our greatest product achievement to date, but what we believe to be one of the greatest achievement ever for men's undergarments. We were able to create a product at less than half the weight of our competitors with Air,” says Tom Patterson, Founder & CEO of Tommy John. “We have never been so excited for a new collection.” To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7648931-tommy-john-the-big-adjustment/

There are lots of questions on football game days. Are we going to win? Where are we watching the game? Will there be food and drinks? And how early can we start the party? Kristin Cavallari is a wife of an NFL player who knows the game day excitement all too well. When she isn’t watching her hubby from the stands at Soldier Field, she is often the one playing host to her family and friends. With a busy lifestyle of balancing her work as a designer, actress, TV host, mother, wife and, now, author, time is limited. The family of Hoover® Cordless vacuums helps Kristin stay in front of every mess and focus on what’s really important — family, work and football! To check out the Hoover Cordless Family, visit www.Hoover.com. It seems that most football fans follow the same cycle throughout the season: clean, host, clean, repeat. Hoover Cordless vacuums are the perfect solution to the full-house cleanup before guests arrive and for the quick pick-ups throughout the party. By cutting the cord, the Hoover Cordless Family has cut the hassle of plugging and unplugging a vacuum from room to room or having to pull out a large vacuum for one simple spill. “For me, time is at a minimum with so much going on,” Cavallari explains. “The Cordless line allows me to get through my quick blitz before guests arrive and get on with making my tasty-yet-healthy game day snacks!” To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7589252-hoover-cordless-kristin-cavallari-game-day/

If there’s one thing that socially responsible businesses have learned, it’s that they can’t go at it alone. Whether it’s implementing responsible sourcing initiatives or creating a positive corporate model to make an impact on sustainability, there is strength in numbers. So where did Ben & Jerry’s turn for help and inspiration for its latest ice cream flavor? Colorado-based New Belgium Brewing. Never has the phrase “polishing off a pint” been so perfectly poised in any partnership for a delicious double-entendre. Collectively committed to making a better impact in their global communities, the two B Corp companies proudly introduced Salted Caramel Brown-ie Ale ice cream, which will be featured in Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops as well as in pints across the country as a Limited Batch flavor this fall (MSRP $4.89). The concoction consists of New Belgium Brown Ale Ice Cream with Salted Caramel Swirls and Fudge Brownies. The ice cream, arriving on shelves this month, was unveiled Wednesday evening at a Washington D.C. launch “Brew-Ha-Ha” in the confines of the historic Howard Theatre. The launch event was heralded as “a night of music, climate activism, beer, and ice cream.” Musicians Galactic and Dr. Dog performed at the unveiling of Ben & Jerry’s newest ice cream flavor to highlight climate activism. A new Obama administration regulation–the so-called Stream Protection Rule–is about to drive up energy costs and unemployment with no gain in environmental benefits, cautions the National Mining Association. “The primary motive of this regulation is not to protect streams, as its title would suggest, but to protect federal regulators' jobs at the expense of coal miners' jobs as the nation's energy providers,” said Luke Popovich, vice president of communications for the National Mining Association. In a classic example of needless regulation, the U.S. Office of Surface Mining, or OSM, plans to change more than 475 regulations, as well as add more new rules – despite no demonstrated need. OSM has crafted the rule behind closed doors, Popovich said, shutting cooperating states out of discussions about the purpose and content of the regulation. The new rule carries a heavy economic price tag, Popovich warned. He pointed to an analysis by an independent consultant that found that OSM’s rule would put more than 268,000 mining and dependent jobs at risk—adding to the 40,000 high-wage jobs already lost in the industry.
