In a revolutionary treatment for early-onset scoliosis (EOS), a team of surgeons implanted adjustable growing rods in two children from California. The pioneering surgeries — the first ever in the United States — were performed on May 7th at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. Comedic daredevil and circus star Bello Nock dangled upside from a helicopter more than 400 feet above Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi today, without a safety net or tether, as he performed a trapeze act to kick off Beau Rivage’s new summer show FUNAMBULA, opening in the Beau Rivage Theatre June 11.
