The Dodge brand is targeting multicultural millennials1 with a Spanish/English ad campaign for the 2013 Dodge Dart featuring global music sensation Pitbull. The rapper, who utters his signature “¡Dale!” (“Let’s do this!”) phrase in the spots, also composed original instrumental music called “Drop 2 the Bottom” for the commercials: “How to Change Cars Forever” and “How to Break Through and Succeed.” The campaign reflects the Dodge brand’s focus on targeting multicultural millennials for the compact car segment.

A large metal sculpture in honor of automotive pioneer Louis Chevrolet, co-founder of the Chevrolet brand, was unveiled and inaugurated in the Swiss city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, today.
The abstract work was commissioned on the occasion of the car brand’s 100 year jubilee in November 2011. Today, it was formally handed over to Louis Chevrolet’s native city by Dr. Thomas Sedran, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe.

The 2014 model-year brand and category winners of the annual Best Resale Value Awards, recognizing vehicles for their projected retained value through the initial five-year ownership period, were announced today by Kelley Blue Book, www.kbb.com, the leading provider of new and used car information.
