The creative collaboration between Swedish artist/producer Avicii and Volvo Cars for their new brand campaign features a reworking of the classic song Feeling Good. Filmed on location in Stockholm and Osterlen, southern Sweden, the video visits places of personal significance for Avicii and tells his own story of renewal, following several years of hard touring. The video also features members of his family and close friends.
“In the past six years I have been on a never-ending tour, apart for the last nine months during my time-out. I did around 325 shows in a year with traveling on top of that. It couldn’t continue. In the end I had to re-evaluate my situation and change my lifestyle. Sweden is an important place to me, it’s where I gather my strength and energy with family and friends. Clubman comes to Hong Kong -Mini Cooper has chosen Hong Kong as the first place in the world to launch their new model Clubman. Music, celebrities, models and mini fans flooded Stanley Plaza for a full on party. Flamenco dancers, beat boxers, sword fights and a surreal carnival atmosphere took over the night. But nothing could steal the show from the unveiling of the new Clubman. Draped with beautiful women the cars were unveiled to a cheering audience while champagne flowed freely. Sixty-six vehicles earn the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s TOP SAFETY PICK award for 2011, including 40 cars, 25 SUVs, and a minivan. TOP SAFETY PICK recognizes vehicles that do the best job of protecting people in front, side, rollover, and rear crashes based on good ratings in Institute tests. Winners also must have available electronic stability control, a crash avoidance feature that significantly reduces crash risk. The ratings help consumers pick vehicles that offer a higher level of protection than federal safety standards require.
European motorists put having correct tires on their car second only to not drink driving in terms of its importance to road safety, with 82% of respondents stating that 'having tires in good condition and properly inflated' was 'very important' to their safety when driving.
