World Spa and Well Being Convention 2012, at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani from September 19th to the 21st. Now we are going to look into one of the most expected activities of the convention, the congress or the seminars.

The annual ASEAN Tourism Forum or ATF started off today in Vientiane, Laos. From January 21st to 24th, the travel trade-only exhibition and business meetings platform is bringing over 2,000 delegates from around the world, comprising of heads of National Tourist Organisations, Tourism Ministers, suppliers from across ASEAN, International Buyers, Media and other tourism professionals to discuss about tourism matters of the region.

The celebrative atmosphere is taking over Yaowarat or Bangkok’s China Town at the moment as all the local Chinese decedents are gearing up for the beginning of the Snake Year on February 10th. You’re with me, Suwida Boonyatistarn as we explore Yaowarat and see how this part of Bangkok prepares itself for the countdown.

The Royal Elephant Kraal & Village sitting 5 kilometers away from Ayutthaya’s Historical Park doesn’t only hold historical significance as the place the ancient kings used to watch wild elephants being captured for royal usage, but is also the ground to Elephant Stay, home and nursery to over 90 elephants where the beasts receive attentive love and care, as well as be carefully trained to be involved in tourism activities.
