The USPSTF today issued a draft recommendation giving its second highest approval rating for CT screening for lung cancer for those at high risk, a move that if approved in final form, will trigger Medicare and insurance coverage and bring about a dramatic drop in the leading cause of cancer deaths.

To coincide with the start of a new school year and Attendance Awareness Month, the Ad Council and U.S. Army are releasing a series of new public service advertisements (PSAs) addressing the importance of regular school attendance in middle school in order for students to stay on course to graduate high school. Created pro bono by Publicis Kaplan Thaler, the PSAs illustrate the fact that every absence, in any grade, excused or not, can negatively impact a child’s academic achievement and put their high school graduation at risk. To help parents keep track, two tools are being offered on the campaign website: a “Text2Track” mobile SMS program and a redesigned Attendance Calculator.

Garant für souveräne Fahrleistungen ist der AMG 5,5-Liter-V8-Biturbomotor mit 430 kW (585 PS) sowie 900 Newtonmetern Drehmoment – das stärkste Mitglied der BlueDIRECT Motorenfamilie. Durch intelligenten Leichtbau nach der Philosophie „AMG Lightweight Performance“ bringt der S 63 AMG bis zu 100 Kilogramm weniger auf die Waage als der Vorgänger. Die Kombination aus effizientem Antrieb und Absenkung des Fahrzeuggewichts führt zu einem Kraftstoffverbrauch von 10,1 bis 10,3 Litern je 100 Kilometer nach NEFZ gesamt. Auf Wunsch ist der S 63 AMG erstmals auch mit dem Performance-orientierten AMG Allradantrieb 4MATIC lieferbar.
