Parsons design students were invited to explore Allen Edmonds’ design archives and collaborate with master shoemakers to reimagine classic American style. Students brought a range of ideas to the table - including sustainable materials and Midwestern values.

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore celebrated its grand opening in style with a star-studded celebration to welcome Baltimore’s most influential citizens to Charm City’s newest attraction.
The opening night festivities began with a special gathering for dignitaries in the casino’s outdoor entertainment plaza and included remarks from Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley and the Mayor of Baltimore Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. Among the 41 models new for 2014, there are 27 BEST BET seats — more than in any prior year — and three GOOD BETs. Eight boosters are in a category the Institute calls “Check Fit,” and there are three new models that the Institute doesn’t recommend using as boosters.
