The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau has unveiled 'Thailand CONNECT', a global marketing campaign designed to make it easier for corporate buyers and meetings organisers to sell Thailand as a premier MICE destination.
The 19th Azerbaijan International IT and Telecommunications exhibition Bakutel 2013 will be the largest in the event’s history and coincides with the country’s ‘Year of ICT’, an initiative of President, Ilham Aliyev.
The event will take place from 2nd to 5th December at the Baku Expo Center and will feature almost 300 companies from more than 25 countries. 15 countries including Spain, Canada and France will be promoting their technologies on national stands, while groups from Afghanistan, Italy and the USA will participate for the first time.

Astana Expo-2017 is pleased to present the results of its student project. Unusual Marathon EXPO 2017, designed to draw the world's attention to the International specialized exhibition in Astana, was launched in October 2014. The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History will open a new exhibition on American business July 1 in the Mars Hall of American Business. The exhibition, “American Enterprise” will have a strong focus on the nation's agriculture history which is one of four economic sectors in the exhibition. It will explore precision farming, environmental concerns and hybrid seeds.
“American agriculture has gone through a tremendous transformation in the past seven decades, becoming a high-tech industry, deeply affecting not just farmers themselves but every American and the American experience in general,” said Peter Liebhold, museum curator and chair of the Division of Work and Industry.
The companion book American Enterprise: A History of Business in America, will highlight significant artifacts from agriculture's humble beginnings to the technological advances that make it a leading industry in the United States.

TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference 2015, the 20th event for the duty free & travel retail industry in Asia Pacific, closed on 14th May in Singapore after a very successful week.
With occupied exhibition space topping previous years at 9,118 m2 – up 9% on 2014 - and 292 exhibiting companies present (+12%), of which 73 were new to the show, there was a huge variety of products on display for the benefit of visiting buyers and agents.
Visitor numbers were considered satisfactory by organisers TFWA in a year which has been challenging for the duty free and travel retail industry, with aviation accidents, a new approach to gift giving and luxury consumption among the all-important Chinese travellers, financial instability and political tension in several countries and the resulting slowdown in the growth of air passenger traffic.
