Lynn Napoli Marynowski and her younger brother Frank Napoli are as close as a big sister and little brother can be. They are an extension of their tight-knit family. From being raised together (along with a brother), to working together—Lynn has worked at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 25 years and Frank 17 years—and, to this day, still living nearby each other, their parents and brother in Chicago and surrounding suburbs, Lynn and Frank share a close sibling connection. So, when Lynn was struck with the diagnosis of Stage 3 breast cancer back in June 2012, that road—no matter how long—would also be theirs to travel together.

Rebuilding Together is providing free critical home repairs to eligible homeowners affected by Superstorm Sandy through our affiliates in New York City, Long Island, Bergen County, Jersey City, and Essex County. In response to the devastation wrought by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, the Ad Council joined the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Dr. Rajiv Shah, and the Center for International Disaster Information (CIDI) to launch a series of television, radio, print and Web public service advertisements (PSAs) encouraging Americans to make financial contributions to disaster relief efforts. Data presented today at the World Diabetes Congress of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) show that adults with type 2 diabetes achieved improved glycaemic control, significantly lower rates of overall and nocturnal confirmed hypoglycaemia for the full trial period, and a significantly lower rate of severe hypoglycaemia during the maintenance period (defined as week 16 onwards) with Ryzodeg® compared to biphasic insulin aspart 30, both administered twice-daily1.
