There was much more to watch and celebrate yesterday than the big game. Thousands of football-themed costumed pets and their owners took to the streets of the Soulard neighborhood in St. Louis Sunday, Feb. 3 to join the huge tail gate party and march in the 20th annual Beggin’® Pet Parade.
Annually attracting more than 8,000 pets and 80,000 people, the Beggin’ Pet Parade is one of the largest pet parades in the world. The parade holds the Guinness World Records™ for “Most Dogs in Costumed Attire,” achieved during the 2012 parade.

Match.com, the world’s largest online dating site, today released findings from its third annual ‘Singles in America’ study – the largest and most comprehensive national study of singles’ romantic dating habits, sexual practices, and lifestyles in history. Prior to the first study in 2010, little thorough research had been conducted or shared on singles, a population that reflects one-third of the U.S. population (107 million singles, according to the most recent U.S. census). NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG), NRG Yield, Inc. (NYSE: NYLD), and SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR) today announced the completion of the final phase of the California Valley Solar Ranch (CVSR) photovoltaic (PV) generating facility in San Luis Obispo County, California, bringing total electric generating capacity of the plant up to 250 megawatts (AC). NRG acquired CVSR from SunPower in 2011, and the project is jointly owned by NRG Yield (48.95%). CVSR is one of the world’s largest operating solar PV power plants and will sell its electricity to Pacific Gas & Electric under two long-term power purchase agreements.
