Denn angesichts der wahren Neuheitenflut war eine Auswahl unumgänglich. Nun, man entschied sich für eine gesunde Mischung und fand damit bei den über 1.200 geladenen Gästen großen Anklang. Die dritte Generation des Audi TT, der Huracan als Nachfolger des Lamborghini Gallardo, der „Rembrandt Bugatti“ als weitere Sonderedition des Veyron 16,4 Grand Sport Vitesse, der Continental GT Speed als schnellster Bentley aller Zeiten sowie der Seat Leon Cupra zeigten das Hier und Jetzt. Die Skoda-Designstudie „VisionC“ und das sechssitzige Konzeptfahrzeug „Clipper“ von Giugiaro dagegen unterschiedliche Ansätze, wie die automobile Zukunft aussehen könnte. Für den Spagat zwischen Konzeptfahrzeug und Serie zuständig aren der T-ROC, mit dem Volkswagen zwischen Tiguan und Touareg eine neue SUV-Baureihe etablieren wird und die Alltrack-Studie für den VW Multivan, der schon sehr bald auf unseren Straßen zu sehen sein dürfte. Ein vielfältigeres Angebot kann derzeit kein anderer Autokonzern bieten.
Warum Audi derzeit sein neues S3 Cabriolet im zwar für die Jahreszeit viel zu warmen, aber dennoch schneebedeckten schwedischem Östersund-Äre präsentiert, weiß niemand. Zumindest wird aber damit bewiesen - es ist wintertauglich und lässt sich dank permanentem Allradantrieb und damit optimaler Traktion bei allen Straßenverhältnissen sicher bewegen. A five-passenger fastback sports sedan poised to redefine a segment currently populated by European automakers, the Stinger promises to be the highest-performance production vehicle in the company’s history and is backed by Kia Motors’ industry-leading quality and reliability. Offered with multiple engine and drivetrain configurations and luxurious accommodations, the Stinger is planned to go on sale in the U.S. late this year. Pricing will be announced closer to the vehicle’s launch date.

Automakers from around the globe are gearing up for the grand opening of the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, which opens to the public on 10am. Saturday, Feb. 11, at McCormick Place.
Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle are expected to be on hand Saturday, Feb. 11 for the ribbon cutting ceremony, which will officially open the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. With more than one million sq. ft. of exhibit space, the show is the largest in North America and has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent.
Taking center stage at the 109th edition of the Chicago Auto Show are more than 20 vehicles that made their world debut during this week’s Media Preview, including Dodge Durango SRT; Ford Expedition; Hyundai Elantra GT; Mitsubishi Outlander Sport; Nissan TITAN King Cab and Midnight Editions; TRD Sport editions of the Toyota Tundra and Sequoia; Subaru Legacy; and Volkswagen Atlas Weekend Edition Concept.

Kia Motors America (KMA) transforms dreams into reality at the 2017 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show with custom vehicle builds and opportunities to experience the all-new Stinger GT. Attendees will have the opportunity to ride alongside professional Formula Drift drivers who will provide thrilling drifting demonstrations as well as experience the vehicle’s athletic performance first hand from behind the wheel on a challenging autocross course2. In advance of the Stinger going on sale this December,3 KMA invited West Coast Customs to modify and feature two highly customized works of art, one based on the Stinger GT and the other on the current Cadenza premium sedan. KMA also revealed a uniquely modified Stinger equipped with a host of parts and accessories from leading aftermarket suppliers.
