One thousand women die daily due to pregnancy related causes and the majority of Americans (75%) believe that reducing these deaths should be a priority of President Obama and his Administration, according to a study just released by Americans for UNFPA, conducted by Harris Interactive². Further, over eight in ten agree that lack of adequate healthcare is one of the most serious global issues facing women (82%).

Besucht wurden unter anderen im 4. Teil Staedte im Siegtal in Au, Schladern und Eitorf, und im Oberbergischen Marienheide, Gummersbach, Ruenderoth und Engelskirchen.
Und in Eitorf ist mir der Karnevalsumzug vor die Linse gekommen, also schnell auf den Chip gebannt.
Marienheide war der Schneereichste Ort auf der Wanderung. Und was war zu dieser Zeit in Koeln? Nur ein bisschen Raureif, mehr nicht und kein richtiger Schnee.
Zu sehen gab es bei der Wanderung durch diese Staedte auch sehr viel Schnee im Februar 2010.

Drivers of vehicles that perform well in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's side-impact crash test are much less likely to die in a real-world left-side crash than drivers of vehicles that do poorly, a new analysis finds. The study includes only passenger vehicles with side airbags, demonstrating that airbags, while crucial, are far from the whole story in side crash protection.
After controlling for driver age and gender and vehicle type and weight, a driver of a vehicle rated good for driver protection in a side impact is 70 percent less likely to die in a left-side crash compared with a driver of a vehicle rated poor. A driver of a vehicle rated acceptable is 64 percent less likely to die, and a driver of a vehicle rated marginal is 49 percent less likely to die.
