A brand new stop motion video from energy efficiency specialists, The Eco Experts, shows fitting a panel to your roof really is child’s play. The brains behind the stop motion animation was Eco Experts’ employee, Ian Wright, who spent two days playing with Lego to create the film.

The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have partnered to help new-car dealers reduce their energy consumption through the Energy Star program.
As part of this effort, NADA and EPA are encouraging dealerships to complete a brief survey that will give the agency a benchmark to better compare the energy usage of dealerships across the country and allow certification of those dealerships that perform well. The survey (www.nada.org/energystar) asks dealers to share their yearly utility bills, square footage—inside and out—and different types of equipment used at the dealership.

The program is the latest innovation in the company’s continuing commitment to advance its sustainability efforts. The “COLORCYCLE” marker program will allow students to responsibly dispose of any type of used marker through an in-school collection process, keeping plastic out of landfills. Once the used markers are collected, a unique technology will convert the markers into usable fuel.
