Today Barclaycard US, the payments business of Barclays in the United States, announced the launch of the #IHAVEARRIVED Travel Community contest, hosted by Barclaycard Arrival™ MasterCard®. Travel enthusiasts and Barclaycard Arrival cardmembers are invited to join the Barclaycard Travel Community to share their #IHAVEARRIVED travel moment. Barclaycard Arrival cardmembers who enter, have the opportunity to win an exclusive grand prize trip for two to the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards® in February 2016. Community members who are not Barclaycard Arrival cardmembers have an opportunity to choose between two grand prize options: a West Coast VIP trip for two to Napa Valley, California or an East Coast VIP trip for two to New York City.

In honor of the 40th Anniversary of the Judgment of Paris this May, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars will release the 2013 vintage of its iconic S.L.V. Estate Cabernet Sauvignon with a commemorative label replicating the original 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon which took top honors among the red wines at the 1976 Paris Tasting.
Triumphing over two first-growth and other renowned wines of Bordeaux, the 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon brought international recognition to Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Napa Valley and the American wine industry as a whole. To mark the historic event, the commemorative 2013 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon carries a small gold band saying “40th Anniversary Vintage,” and releases at the winery May 1, 2016.
“The surprise win in 1976 by Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars – and Chateau Montelena Winery with their Chardonnay – truly changed the course of history,” said Ted Baseler, President and CEO of Ste. For the tenth consecutive year, The Capital Grille today launched its highly anticipated wine event, The Generous Pour. This year, guests are invited to taste and toast the legacy of renowned winemaker Dan Duckhorn. With wines hand selected to pair with the restaurant’s signature menu items, including hand-cut steaks, dry aged in-house, the tasting experience offers seven selections of classic California and Washington varietals, all created by Dan Duckhorn and his award-winning winemakers. Of the selections is the Goldeneye Rosé of Pinot Noir making its exclusive debut at this year’s event. The Generous Pour is available for $28 from July 9 through September 2, 2018, when paired with dinner.

The exceptional pairing - at $251 - invites guests to experience one of three hand-crafted Wagyu burgers paired with an Antinori family wine hand-selected by The Capital Grille's Advanced Sommelier Brian Phillips. Guests can select from three wines including the Col Solare 2014 (Red Mountain, Washington), a limited production New World Cabernet Sauvignon which pairs well with this year's Caramelized Onion Wagyu Burger featuring Grand Cru Gruyère and Shallot Aioli.
