In 2007 OfficeMax developed A Day Made Better - an annual, one-day event that rewards more than 1,200 teachers around the country with over $1000 in classroom supplies. Together with Adopt-A-Classroom, we\'re educating and motivating people to support and partner with schools in their community.
Some wounds go deeper than others and nothing helps more than strong arms pulling one tightly in to an even bigger heart. These stories feature women who have survived bitter pasts, and the men who have become stronger for understanding them. Together they can overcome anything, with a love born of compassion. Jay Wright, head coach of the Villanova University men's basketball team, and Jamie Dixon, University of Pittsburgh head coach, traded in their playbooks for aprons today at the LG Coaches' Cook-off™ during NCAA® Final Four® weekend. LG Electronics USA, an official Corporate Partner of the NCAA, hosted the competition and donated $5,000 in the participating coaches' names to Coaches vs. Cancer, a program that unites the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches in the fight against cancer.

The Advertising Council, in partnership with the world’s largest autism science and advocacy organization Autism Speaks, announced today the launch of innovative public service advertisements (PSAs) featuring renowned fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, and NASCAR driver Jamie McMurray and his niece who has autism. The PSAs are designed to help raise awareness about autism and to encourage the public to learn the early warning signs of a disorder that now affects one in every 110 American children.

Cirque du Soleil and the Estate of Michael Jackson unveiled Michael Jackson ONETM today in Las Vegas, a new creation to take residency exclusively at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Directed by Jamie King, Michael Jackson ONE will start its preview performances on May 23, 2013 and have its media premiere on June 29. This entirely new show is the second creative project to be developed between Cirque du Soleil and The Estate of Michael Jackson after the top grossing Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour, currently playing arenas in Europe as it travels the world.
