Island Air closed the sale of the airline today to a newly formed holding company owned by Lawrence J. Ellison. The sale secures the future of Island Air and its employees.
“This is another major investment and commitment to Hawaiʻi,” said Paul Marinelli, vice president of Lawrence Investments, LLC. “We understand the critical importance of transportation in an island state and we will ensure that Island Air strengthens its role, capacity and service to the people of Hawaiʻi. Denn der Lkw-Fahrer wurde selbst in einen Unfall verwickelt, als eine Frau die Kontrolle über ihr Fahrzeug verlor und gegen seinen Lkw prallte. Dennoch behielt der 34-Jährige einen kühlen Kopf und befreite die junge Mutter und ihr 15 Monate altes Kleinkind aus dem brennenden Pkw. Ohne das couragierte Zupacken des Bayern wäre der Unfall vermutlich tödlich ausgegangen. Für seinen selbstlosen Einsatz wurde Appelmann zum „Held der Straße 2012\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
