Season 3 of Food Network’s top-rated series Chopped All-Stars returns Sunday, April 7th at 9pm ET/PT, as sixteen culinary competitors battle it out for the title of All-Star champion and a $50,000 prize for the winner’s charity. The five-part competition series, hosted by Ted Allen, includes four chefs going head-to-head each week in themed episodes featuring Food Network chefs vs. Cooking Channel chefs, an all-out battle of the Mega Chefs, the much anticipated battle of the Chopped judges, and a can’t miss culinary showdown as four celebrities with a shared love of cooking compete against each other in the Chopped kitchen. Judged by a rotating roster of Chopped regulars who decide who gets “chopped” each week, including Maneet Chauhan, Marcus Samuelsson, Aarón Sánchez, Chris Santos and Geoffrey Zakarian, the competitors are challenged to create delectable courses in a limited amount of time from the ingredients in the renowned Chopped mystery basket. This summer HGTV reveals a new opportunity for an undiscovered design virtuoso to win his or her own show on the network in HGTV Star, a new twist on HGTV’s classic design competition, Design Star. Premiering on Sunday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the seven-episode series features 10 creative finalists who must tackle unexpected design challenges assigned by host and mentor David Bromstad and impress the panel of design experts, including network stars Genevieve Gorder, Vern Yip and series newcomer Sabrina Soto. Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) has unveiled revealing, new information that confirms a sneaking suspicion— more than half (51%) of couples are likely to “cheat”1—but don’t start grilling your significant other or giving them the evil eye just yet.
A recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Netflix2 revealed 51% of those in a relationship would “cheat” on their spouse/partner/significant other by streaming a TV program(s) they agreed to watch together before their partner had a chance to watch it. More specifically, more than 28 million3 U.S. adults (12%) confessed they had already cheated and 10% admitted they had been “cheated on4.” It seems as though sometimes that next episode of your favorite series is just too tempting to wait for your partner. Sneaking around with that addictive little show may seem like a minor form of infidelity—but don’t be surprised if it leads to a few slamming doors and a bit of the silent treatment.

The Attention Powered Car, developed by
the RAC, is into leg 3 of its road trip around WA visiting towns
including Donnybrook, Nannup and Pemberton, heading to Albany and then
finishing in the Wheatbelt town of Narrogin. In this
episode we put two drivers behind the wheel that drive for a living. We
wanted to see if their professional experience influenced their
attention levels. How will our Ambo and Australia's best truck driver
perform? First up was Mike. As a St John's Ambulance
Volunteer, he needs to be calm and confident driving under pressure and
at high speed. And it showed. So too with our second driver, Murray,
who's TNT Australia's best truck driver. Both came out determined and
focused to prove they had the edge. To some degree they did. Incidences
of inattention were fewer and further between, but they were still
there. Encouragingly, both drivers were much better at refocusing when
they did lose attention. Check out this webisode to see
just how they performed, as well as what insights we are finding about
driver inattention as we take the Attention Powered Car through
southern WA.
Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri return to mentor and coach eight new multi-talented celebrities in the third season of Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, premiering Monday, January 6th at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network. The eight celebrities are divided into Team Rachael and Team Guy as they compete over six episodes in a variety of culinary challenges, testing their cooking, marketing and performing skills along the way. New to this season, each episode features a special Food Network guest judge who will determine which celebrity is sent home. The last one left standing wins bragging rights as they join past season winners Lou Diamond Phillips and Dean McDermott, and $50,000 to the charity of their choice.
