In fact, the Fourth of July is the second most dangerous holiday of the year for cell phones, with a nearly 50 percent spike in claims filed after the holiday. A press conference was held on Wednesday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Timothy School located at 5100 Camden Avenue in San Jose, California, to release the world’s first executive caliber, leadership training curricula for 2-9 year olds. Dr. Alan E. Nelson, EdD, Lecturer of Management at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, and Founder of KidLead has been working on the first-ever leadership program for preschoolers and early childhood students. This social innovation is designed to identify influencers while they’re still very moldable in character and skill, as well as to teach others on how to problem solve in teams and be led by peers. Dr. Nelson is considered a global expert in young leader development, but this work is a first, to start so young.

On June 29, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will open the doors to the world’s most comprehensive and interactive attraction devoted to NASA’s 30-year Space Shuttle Program –Space Shuttle Atlantis.(SM)
More than 40 NASA astronauts are expected to participate in the grand opening, many of whom will be making appearances and signing autographs throughout the Visitor Complex. The festivities also include more than 20 special NASA exhibits throughout the Visitor Complex.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) was held from June 20 to 22, 2013 – this year’s theme was “Finding Resolve to Build the New Global Economy”.
2013 was a record SPIEF year for the number of attendees – 7190 people attended, from 87 countries, out of which total there were 1245 media representatives. The Russian and international business community was well represented – SPIEF 2013 was attended by 176 major foreign corporations and 436 large-scale Russian businesses. Out of the companies who attended, 67 leaders of the foreign businesses, and 24 leaders of the Russian corporations have Forbes or Fortune listings. Moreover, 327 representatives of official foreign delegations attended SPIEF 2013.

The latest World Gold Council Gold Demand Trends report, which covers the period April-June 2013, highlights how recent falls in the gold price have generated significant increases in demand, most notably from consumers in China and India – by far the biggest markets for gold – compared with the same time last year.

Louisiana is the most recent state to declare helmet exemption for the Elio, which is federally classified as an enclosed motorcycle. House Bill 218 was unanimously approved in Louisiana, where the Elio will be manufactured, in late June. New York also has an exemption on the books, allowing the Elio to be driven around the progressive state without a helmet.

Lynn Napoli Marynowski and her younger brother Frank Napoli are as close as a big sister and little brother can be. They are an extension of their tight-knit family. From being raised together (along with a brother), to working together—Lynn has worked at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 25 years and Frank 17 years—and, to this day, still living nearby each other, their parents and brother in Chicago and surrounding suburbs, Lynn and Frank share a close sibling connection. So, when Lynn was struck with the diagnosis of Stage 3 breast cancer back in June 2012, that road—no matter how long—would also be theirs to travel together.
