MRE meals are what you want to have on hand in case an emergency strikes. You never know what is going to happen and you want to be prepared for anything that could go wrong. I wanted them because I live in an area that has lots of earthquakes and I don't want to be put into a bad situation if the big one finally strikes and the stores are all out of food.
