HBO Latino, Home Box Office’s dedicated Spanish-language premium channel, has announced their exciting roster of new premium series, films and specials for the Spring 2013 TV season. These new programs are sure to excite the nation’s bilingual Hispanic households.
Making their U.S. television premieres exclusively on the service this spring are the first season of the HBO Latin America series Preamar and the two-part telefilm Mandrake, a follow-up to HBO Latin America’s drama series of the same name. HBO Latino will also premiere the new documentary Habla Women, the latest installment in the successful Habla franchise.

The Ad Council is joining forces with BAM! Body and Mind and KIDZ BOP to premiere The Greatest Action Movie Ever (G.A.M.E), a kid-targeted film offering fun ways to channel the inner action hero and take steps towards a more active and nutritionally-balanced lifestyle. Starring Ryan Ochoa of the hit Disney XD series Pair of Kings, the first half of the six-minute long G.A.M.E. film will premiere on Sunday, April 14 on Disney XD as part of Disney’s Magic of Healthy Living, an initiative that inspires kids and families to lead healthier lifestyles. Audiences will then be directed to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s BAM! Body and Mind website, BAM.gov, to see the second part of the film and access additional health-related resources. Tree Fu Tom, the animated preschool series that’s taken Britain by storm, will make its U.S. debut on Sprout®, the 24-hour preschool channel, on April 22 at 11:00 a.m. EST. The show, which is a co-production between FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment and CBeebies, joins Sprout’s lineup of quality children’s entertainment that includes both acquired and original programming including the network’s newest hit, “The Chica Show.”
The premiere of Tree Fu Tom kicks-off a week-long celebration called “Dig Into Earth Day,” which promotes conservation and the importance of caring for the environment.
