A smart musician will always keep a secret stash of songs tucked away for when he needs them and this little gem was one of my first attempts at composing Electronic Dance music back around 2006 which means that this 10 year old song will be my first upload for 2016. What I loved about this song was that I had no idea as to what I was doing being that I had never composed a song like it before. It almost made me want to dance but I opted instead for just sitting down and drinking a beer when it was done.
I've been told that some of my songs in the past have a David Bowie quality to them and so I started thinking 2005 when I first started practicing how to sing sing. I would practice at the factory where I used to work at as no one could hear me with all the stamping presses running. That was until one day when I was practicing in a quieter welding area and not knowing that the idiot maintenance electrician was doing something on my welder until then popped his head out and uttered "Don't quit your daytime job." ..... Very original line ..... Well, I didn't exactly quit my job but the doors did close down there and since that time, I've been working hard to make this my daytime job. As always, hopefully this song will catch on and I'll acquire an audience who will just appreciate this song without asking for something in return ..... A guy can dream can't he? ... Maybe David can help me out on this one.

As Alex exchanged handshakes and back slaps with his heroes, he said afterwards: “It’s going to sound silly but for a moment I thought I was a member of the Rolling Stones. It’s not every day you get to meet your idols.”

This is my 2nd song for 2017 .... I have a best friend who I go cruising with every weekend and we listen to each others music "What we've accomplished in 1 week" and he believes that this is my best song to date. I guess that I'll find out soon enough what the good people of Youtube think. Master of the Chinese martial arts Douwe Geluk from Apeldoorn city in the Netherlands participated in the Flemish Open Martial Arts Championships in Aarschot City, Belgium. This event was organised by the Vlaamse Wu Shu Federatie, Jurgen van Horenbeek and Said Belabed.
