Speaking at the annual TFWA World Exhibition Conference in Cannes on Monday 22nd October, Erik Juul-Mortensen, President of TFWA commented that, “Our brands, resilient and resourceful, demonstrated growth across all categories, with luxury goods leading the way.”
Attended by a record 894 delegates, it set the scene for TFWA World Exhibition which gave 462 brand-owners the opportunity to showcase thousands of products before buyers, agents, distributors and other trade visitors representing airports, airlines, airport retailers, ferry and cruise line companies and other duty free outlets. The exhibition occupied 21,000m2, the largest exhibition of its kind ever.

Two beautiful baby girls had their public debut today at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia: Allison June and Amelia Lee Tucker, formerly conjoined twins, separated at the Hospital on Nov. 7. The Hospital held a press conference this morning to highlight this new phase in the lives of both infants.

At the Detroit Auto Show, I had the great pleasure of attending with Jeep. I was there during the Press Only days and attending the unveiling new Compass, the Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel (diesel) and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. After the press conference I was talking with people that work for Jeep. The press conference has been convened for the official launch of IAGTO’s 2nd Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) that will take place in Pattaya from 29 April to 2 May this year. The AGTC is the largest and most important gathering of Asia’s golf tourism industry. Inspired by its surrounding southwestern landscape, the Health Sciences Education Building (HSEB) at The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix is one of the most innovative construction projects in the United States utilizing predominately recycled copper. Using nearly 6,000 copper panels and more than 10,000 copper parts, this 268,000 square-foot building consists of six stories of administration and faculty offices, lecture halls, learning studios, flexible classrooms, clinical suites, gross anatomy facilities, laboratories and conference rooms.
