Lt. Col. Weinstein is retired from the Army Reserve with 30 years of service and spent about half of that time as a military instructor with the Command & General Staff College.
He has been featured on radio and television, among others, on the History Channel and Fox Sports Net as well as in various publications. His background is unique and diverse ... military instructor, attorney, motivational speaker, wellness coach, certified corporate trainer, certified personal trainer and weight loss coach.
Bob is known as the Health Colonel and is a motivational speaker on topics of leadership skill training, team building, sales, fitness, nutrition, health, wellness and the importance of interrelationships of people. His experiences in the Army Reserve have given him excellent leadership skill training which he shares enthusiastically with his audiences.
In addition to his speaking engagements, Bob is also presently writing a book on health and wellness. His burning desire is to help others lead healthier and happier lives. He has just completed an audio book titled Seven Keys to Permanent Weight Loss which is the first of a series titled Walk the Talk - See the Results and plans to publish the series in print.

The American Red Cross and Pitney Bowes Inc. are teaming up to send holiday cards to service men and women in the United States and around the world. From Tuesday, November 11 until Wednesday, December 10, the public is invited to send holiday cards with their message of thanks and cheer to a special post office box. The Red Cross and Pitney Bowes will then screen cards for hazardous materials, sort and package the cards, and deliver them to military bases and hospitals, veteran�s hospitals, and other locations during the holidays. To coincide with the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Selma March (March 7–25, 1965), the Ad Council is leading an unprecedented group of historic brands to launch a new series of public service advertisements (PSAs) on behalf of their Love Has No Labels campaign. First announced in February, the digital–first campaign is designed to further understanding and acceptance of all communities regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age and ability. The new television and online video PSAs encourage audiences to examine and challenge their own implicit bias.

That’s when dogs and cats will invade the channel to launch MTV2’s #Down2Adopt, an on-air and online campaign to make shelters and rescue groups the go-to choice when looking for your new best friend. MTV2 will showcase adoptable shelter and rescue pets during the year-long campaign as they join forces with The Shelter Pet Project, a national public service program from the Ad Council, The Humane Society of the United States and Maddie’s Fund®.
#Down2Adopt launches with a series of video pet biographies featuring the voices of Kristen Bell, MTV2’s Charlamagne Tha God and MTV2’s Carly Aquilino comically narrating stories of how some dogs and cats found themselves in shelters. It will be all paws on deck when the #Down2Adopt pet bios premiere during an all new episode of MTV2’s “Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne” tonight, Wednesday, September 30, at 11pm ET. Charlamagne and guests including Vinny Guadagnino will share why they’re down to adopt shelter pets and will hang with Charm, an adoptable puppy from St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in New Jersey.
