Christina Christian is most widely recognized for her dazzling performances on American Idol. When her season of American Idol ended, she was one of the four contestants that were signed to a recording contract. Christina always loved to sing and as she was growing up, her musical mentors were Whitney Houston, Bette Midler and Patti LaBelle. Though she sailed into fame with her beautiful voice, family is still her first priority with her son and husband close by her side. Al Maryah Island hosted Abu Dhabi’s biggest New Year’s Eve celebration, a spectacular evening of music and fireworks. Thousands of families and friends filled the island’s waterfront Promenade where they enjoyed an electrifying concert with Emirati star Hussain Al Jassmi, Egyptian pop sensation Mohamed Hamaki, and winner of Arab Idol 2015, Mohammed Assaf.
More than 10,000 people enjoyed hearing their favourite songs performed during the five-hour show, which culminated in an exhilarating midnight countdown, followed by a breath-taking firework display.
The evening was a landmark occasion in Al Maryah Island’s colourful events calendar and was staged through a partnership between Mubadala and Platinum Records, the leading record label company which operates under the umbrella of MBC Group.

“Clearing the way” from Arkansas to Chicago are the three boys, Michael Hollinger, Bodie Hope, and Dylan “Rocky” Riley that captured your attention by creating “Mini-Dom” and pulling a switcheroo on Storm Chaser Reed Timmer.
During their Bosch-sponsored trip to Chicago, the young storm chasers had camera in hand, full of anticipation and excitement to take part in the spoof involving their idol, Timmer. Meeting Timmer was something they had only dreamed of, until Bosch proposed a plan to bring the boys to Chicago and switch Timmer’s storm chasing vehicle, the Dominator, with the boys’ “Mini-Dom” for the “Switcheroo” video.
