For the first time ever, an orchestrated stampede of more than 40 horses stopped all traffic on a portion of the famous Las Vegas Strip as Shania Twain marked her arrival into Las Vegas by making a grand entrance via horseback to her new home at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Fans and visitors lined the street in front of the iconic Caesars Palace fountains to welcome Shania as The Colosseum’s newest resident artist. Dubai Fountain is a record-setting choreographed fountain system set on
the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown
Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was designed by
WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains
at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas. Illuminated by 6,600 lights
and 25 colored projectors, it is 275 m (902 ft) long and shoots water
150 m (490 ft) into the air (equivalent to a 50-story building),
accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world
music. It was built at a cost of AED 800 million (USD 218 million) and
attracts thousands of tourists on a daily basis.
On Wednesday, September 17, the beat dropped and water soared when world-renowned DJ/producer Tiësto brought the iconic Fountains of Bellagio to life with a never-before-heard medley of three songs off his new album, A Town Called Paradise. “Footprints,” “Rocky” and “Red Lights” serve as the soundtrack to the newest show choreographed by WET, the original fountain creators.
“Las Vegas is like my second home and I’m excited to leave a permanent mark on the city I love,” said Tiësto. “The Fountains of Bellagio bring my songs to life in a new and dynamic way that I can’t wait for my fans to experience.”

The iconic Caesars Palace celebrated Independence Day Weekend by paying homage to its colorful history of hosting amazing daredevil stunts with a night jump by the Red Bull Air Force skydiving team in front of the famed resort on Sunday, June 3, followed by a colossal 13 ½ minute fireworks extravaganza.
The festive party began just before sundown with live entertainment on the iconic front fountains. Winner of “American Idol” season five, Taylor Hicks, got the patriotic party started with his popular song, “Seven Mile Breakdown,” followed by “Nineteen”. The roster of live entertainment also included cast members from ABSINTHE and the TSA Color Guard.
