The Hong Kong's Basketball Championship is still going and So-U.TV filmed Match 4 in Mongkok, Saturday July 5, 2008. SCAA and Fukien are still fighting for it. The pressure was mounting in the second half but Fukien claimed lead at 45:47. SCAA were able to come back strong and finished at 76:65. A year ago, Falaniko Penesa, 26, of Upolu, Apia, Samoa, finished second in the World Fireknife Championship, losing out to five-time champion Mikaele Oloa of Waialua, Hawaii.
Penesa spent the past year “practicing every day to make my moves flow” and the hard work paid off, as he won the 25th Annual World Fireknife Championship on Saturday night (May 13), beating out Oloa by one point on the combined scorecards of the seven judges. Kepanipaa Damaso of Waikoloa, Hawaii finished third.
Penesa, who performs at Hong Kong Disneyland, dazzled the sold-out crowd at the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Pacific Theater with an amazing routine that had him spinning, twirling and juggling one and two fireknives at lightning-fast speed, often behind his back and overhead.

Uber-cool Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer will mark the start of the world’s first electric car race season on 31st August with a king-sized VIP party in Beijing, home of the new championship’s electrifying season opener.

LG Mobile Phones announced today that 13 year-old, Brianna Hendrickson from Brooklyn, NY is the winner of the fourth annual LG U.S. National Texting Championship. LG originated the first-ever nationwide texting competition in 2007 and returned this year with additional prizes and challenges. After out-texting the best in the U.S. with her ultimate speed and dexterity, Brianna took home $50,000 and will now compete in the LG Text For Good Challenge, where she will have the chance to double her prize money and select a charity to which LG will make a $50,000 donation.
