The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts, the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts and arts education, announced today that entries for the 2013 Poster Design Competition will be accepted through January 31, 2013. The Competition winners will earn tuition scholarships to study at one of the more than 50 Art Institutes schools, including a full tuition scholarship for the national first place winner in the high school senior category.

The finalists’ videos ranged from simple stories of cats’ playtime antics to complex stories about cats’ creative imaginations, but in the end, “The Friskies” $15,000 Grand Prize for “Best Video” went to a story about a very happy blind cat, who enthusiastically uses his senses of hearing and touch to play like every cat.
The winners were announced and the Catuettes and prizes were awarded at a one-of-a-kind awards show in Hollywood yesterday by Friskies® to celebrate the art form of Internet cat videos and the best new cat videos of 2012. Johnson & Johnson today honors the winners of the 2012 Dr. Paul Janssen Award for Biomedical Research in a ceremony and scientific symposium at the New York Academy of Sciences in New York, NY.
