Drivers of late-model pickup trucks are likely to find themselves squinting into the darkness or temporarily blinding other drivers, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's latest headlight ratings show. All four small pickups evaluated are available only with headlights that earn a poor rating. The same goes for 3 out of 7 large pickups. Only one large pickup, the Honda Ridgeline, is available with good-rated headlights, though all but the most expensive trim levels come with poor ones. Pickups are the third vehicle category to be put through the IIHS headlight evaluations. Midsize cars were the first in March, followed by small SUVs in July. IIHS launched its headlight ratings after finding that government standards based on laboratory tests allow for huge variation in the amount of illumination headlights provide in on-road driving. In the Institute's evaluations, engineers measure how far light is projected from a vehicle's low beams and high beams as the vehicle travels straight and on curves. Glare from low beams for oncoming drivers also is measured.

Just for fun, I decided to try recording my voice and I discovered that once again I can sing through my sound system and so I'm giving my vocoloid program a break as I am once again singing the lead vocal work. I still used my vocoloid program for the backup vocals to the chorus of this song .... I love collaborating with my computer .... Even if it does terminate my voice from time to time. As long as it doesn't try to terminate me because I'm the one who hold's the hammer ..... and the remote control. Lyrics July 2nd, it was 1994. A terminator come knocking upon my door. I said "Whoa now son, what you got to give?" He said "Come with me if you want to live. Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator, what you gonna terminate tonight? I said "Son, we don't have to mess around here. I've got lots of whiskey and plenty of beer." "Why don't you and I go take a ride in my limo?" He said "I'll be back, no problemo." Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator, what you gonna terminate tonight? So then I asked "Boy, you got yourself a name? Gotta call you something if we're gonna play this game." "Shall I call you Maurice, Rick Nick or Rob?" He then shrugged his shoulders and replied "Uncle Bob?" Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator, what you gonna terminate tonight?" He terminated my whiskey. He terminated my rye. It all went down his hatchet, he said here's mud in my eye. I said "Now son, you gonna pay this tab maybe?" He just grinned and said "Hasta La Vista Baby." Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator. Hey Terminator, what you gonna terminate tonight? Repeat chorus.

Lupe Maldonado will tell you, “education is key.” That’s because it’s what helped her and her family create a brighter future. Their story started in a garage in Torrance, Calif., more than 20 years ago. That’s where they lived when they came to the U.S. No bathroom. No running water; a mattress on the bare floor. They covered up the holes to keep out the cold and the mice. While it may have been a bleak start, Lupe says just being in America was a dream come true. While Ismael worked 12 hour days to support his family, Lupe joined a new program at her son’s elementary school called the Toyota Family Literacy Program in order to learn English. It was a tough decision, going to school instead of getting a job that could provide the money needed to move out of that garage; but Ismael and Lupe knew if she could learn English, she could advocate for their boys with teachers, doctors and in the community. Ismael also enrolled in English classes. To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7946551-ncfl-toyota-partnership/

U-Haul, the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage, has teamed with a beloved Motor City charity to help previously homeless families transition from shelters into clean, dignified and welcoming homes. Humble Design Fueled by U-Haul, as it is now termed, was born seven years ago out of the idea that decent families emerging from homelessness in Metro Detroit deserve to come home to basic necessities like tables to eat at, sofas to sit on and beds to sleep in each night. Co-founder Treger Strasberg’s organization has assisted more than 660 families so far. With the support of U-Haul, that number will swell exponentially while expanding this noble pursuit to additional cities. “The expertise, resources, national reach and community commitment of U-Haul make it a tremendous partner for Humble Design to take our mission nationwide to alleviate homelessness,” Strasberg said. “Working together, U-Haul and Humble Design will engage communities to serve families in need by turning houses into homes across the country.” To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7907151-u-haul-humble-design-partners/

Royal Challenge Sports Drink inspires people to be unafraid of consequences and make bold choices. Through the ‘Made of Bold’ video, Virat Kohli and Royal Challenge Sports Drink have come together to pay tribute to the bold journey of Indian athletes who play bold against all odds and need to be given the much deserved recognition and spotlight. These beautiful opening lines from the ‘Made of Bold’ video, narrated by Virat Kohli and written by Sonal Dabral, give a perspective on the behind-the-scenes challenges of Indian athletes, who strive for success against all odds in a country that primarily worships cricket. They don’t have packed stadiums with screaming fans, but they still give it their all, every single day not for a tour, not for a tournament but for 4 years at a stretch and against all odds. Only because they are ‘made of bold’. “Every successful athlete has a journey made up of a bold spirit, grit and mental strength. I took up cricket at an early age and today it has given me people’s love and respect. There are champions in the country who have taken up sports other than cricket but the fact is that their commitment and sacrifices are not known to many. They silently endure the test of times in their sporting journey putting a lot at stake and unafraid of consequences. They are indeed “Made of Bold”. This video is an attempt to give everyone a glimpse into the never-say-die spirit of these athletes.” says Indian star cricketer, Virat Kohli. I'm trying to think of something to say in behalf of this song but nothing come's to mind .... It was a really hard song to work on as with all of my other songs .... I had to save each new version of it on my external hard drive because I was working this song to the maximum capability of my musical program ... A couple of times, it froze up my computer and I wasn't able to save the changes ... I had to perform some extra research through forums on how to deal with the tech problems that I was faced with but in the end, I just took out my trusty hammer and I then had another conversation with my 2007 Intel quad-core computer about who run's this household and who is the boss and who is the bitch in this relationship ..... I first demonstrated my hammer on my coffee cup .... which I always hated the color of anyway .... and then with the most sinister glare that I could muster up, I then turned to my computer and said "If I don't have this song completed and on Youtube before the rise of the new moon .... you will be watching the rise of the new moon from outside .... all crammed up in the recycle bin while wearing this coffee cup on top of whatever is left of your circuitry .... You BUBBLY HEADED BOOBY !!!!! ...... Computers always heed to the voice of reason ..... The song is now done .... and I also now drink my coffee from a beer can.
