King Cobra, America’s first cobra-themed, racing tube slide, today bares its venomous fangs at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.
King Cobra’s unique configuration enables two tubes to race through a circular path with twists, turns and surprises through enclosed and open sections of the slide at speeds up to 32 miles per hour. The ride’s finale features a sudden, 25-foot plunge at a 50-degree angle with riders racing until the heart-pounding finish as they appear to be swallowed by the massive jaws of the cobra.

Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race returns for a third season this summer, with host Tyler Florence presiding over the cross-country culinary road trip with a brand-new twist: no longer a competition between current food truck operators as in prior seasons, this high-stakes battle is between eight teams who desperately want to be in the food truck business – they have a dream, a concept and insane culinary skills. Mountain Dew® and Dale Earnhardt Jr. brought “The Dark Knight Rises” to Brooklyn, Michigan for a few laps on Thursday, June 14. Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s popular No. 88 Chevrolet went “dark” today thanks to fans of The Dark Knight Rises and Mountain Dew® (DEW).
