This campaign was developed in partnership with STOMP Out Bullying, the leading bullying prevention organization in the U.S. The ‘Erase Bullying for Good’ campaign is funded with proceeds from sales of Pilot’s FriXion Clicker erasable gel ink pen, a revolutionary kind of erasable pen that enables students to enjoy mistake-free writing. A total of $125,000 will be donated to STOMP Out Bullying for the educational and support programs they offer parents, students and educators designed to transform and prevent negative bullying behaviors in U.S. schools.
Bullying has become a real problem in U.S. schools and Pilot Pen wanted to help be part of the solution. “There are a lot of parents that work at Pilot, and we are well aware of the challenges facing kids today. We wanted to help address the issue of bullying at a national level by supporting STOMP Out Bullying. According to DeAngelo, “Anything outside of the expected time frame could be considered a late remittance by the DOL and should be voluntarily corrected.” DeAngelo goes on to say that many benefit managers stumble on the perception that, according to the DOL, retirement plan remittances must be made “no later than the 15th business day of the following month.”

Founded by Alex Scott (1996-2004) in 2004, Alex’s Lemonade Days is a three-day national event that grew out of Alex’s front yard lemonade stand. During Alex’s Lemonade Days, dedicated volunteers host thousands of Alex’s Lemonade Stands across the country, raising more than $1 million for childhood cancer research. June 2015 will mark the 12th Annual Lemonade Days, and will continue Alex’s mission to raise money one cup of lemonade at a time, renewing her idea that any contributor, at any age, can make a difference.

When Daisy is called to a fire scene, she knows that work comes first and socializing with fire fighters comes second. It can be tough for her, especially when everyone tells her she is so beautiful and talented but thankfully her partner keeps her focused on her job. She is a fire investigator´s dream and an arsonist´s worst nightmare. Daisy is an accelerant detection canine and along with her partner, John Peters, work for the Westchester County Police Department in New York. Both were trained through the State Farm Arson Dog Program to locate trace amounts of ignitable liquids such as gasoline or kerosene that may have been used to start a fire. That is why Daisy and many other accelerant detection canine teams are being recognized during National Arson Awareness Week, May 3–9, 2015.
