After a long week of work or school, I am sure many of you will be going extra hard tonight. No matter how many shots you kick back, though, I am pretty sure you won't have a Good Time like Fred Diezil. Making his first appearance in The DJBooth, the Jersey native/Tacoma, WA resident bring us a liquor filled single, perfect for starting your weekend off right. As the IzZy's beat rolls, highlighted by an intoxicating, choppy female vocal sample, Diezil contributes a swift flow, boasting about his vision of a good time, including drinking until his vision is clouded and he's losing his dinner (sounds like a good night to me). Those suddenly in the mood to party can knock a few back with Diezil next week, when Good Time goes to iTunes. ~ www.DjBooth.net

As facts go, we’re used to extraordinary numbers in the tech world, yet certain realities continue to astonish: each day on the planet, more iPhones are sold than babies are born. Access to information is constantly at our fingertips, keeping us connected virtually at all times; but moments when we are face-to-face merit attention as well. Kendall-Jackson, a family-owned winery that handcrafts high-quality wines, is changing the way wine can be part of those everyday occasions with family and friends. Introducing “Goes Well With Friends,” your official permission to enjoy wine however, whenever and with whomever you choose. Instead of only pairing wine with food, Kendall-Jackson invites you to pair wine selections with your experiences and mood, such as a night out with friends, a quiet dinner for two or a family gathering.

During flu season, when fever, aches, and chills hit, it is easy to forget one’s manners. A recent survey of more than 1,000 Americans found that nearly two-thirds (64%) of those who had influenza in the past three years admit to being “That Guy,” who despite experiencing flu symptoms, continues to go about his/her daily activities.
As part of its “Are You That Guy?” influenza education campaign, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is partnering with the Emily Post Institute to remind Americans to do the responsible thing during flu season and practice behavior that will help limit the spread of influenza, a highly contagious virus. The campaign also reminds Americans to see a doctor quickly if flu strikes. The campaign offers flu etiquette tips for managing common situations where the flu virus might be shared from one person to another, such as shaking hands during a business meeting, over a family dinner, or when faced with a fellow airplane traveler who is showing signs of flu.
